Come on guys……..don’t be so stupid. The number one cause of death for pregnant women is murder. AND 91% of the times it is the husband who is guilty. Now I know Rachel Entwistle wasn’t pregnant but she had an infant which is just as close. If you aren’t happy with your life just KILL YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leave the kid and mom out of it. You will always get caught, unless you are super rich and can afford forensic scientists who will confuse the crap out of the nimble minded jurors. Life would be so much better if you were dead but I am sure you would wish you were dead now that you are entering the twisted socio class of prison. You are toast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On another note…….
Poor Coopy doo has an ear infection. He is such a trooper. He never lets on that he hurts. He has had a bad fever and a tad of a cough but nevr said he was in pain. I took him to the doc today and sure enough he had an infection. He is on antiobiotics now and is already feeling better. Here’s to hoping no one else in the house gets it. WE are too busy.
As most of you know I am puzzle fanatic. I love to play math games. That is what soothes me after a stresfull day. Yea I know, but nothing like counting at the end of the day to put me to ease. Well last year in Phily I became bored with the Suduko puzzles becaus they became too easy. I got a new game thanks to the Detroit Free Press. Well they don’t have that game here in the Texas newspaper or even USA Today so I go online and do Kakuro. Here is a great site for the free downloadable puzzles. It’s easy to get the hook of it. The nice thing is that when they start getting easier you can do the bigger ones. Here is the Link.
I hope you enjoy them as much as me. Off to do Book 3 now!

My mom called today and told me that there were really bad storms. She said that they had to run to the basement this morning. Ugh! The whole Midwest is getting blasted.
Yesterday was Noah’s birthday. When he woke I started singing Happy Birthday and he said, “No, no, you can’t sing my friends haven’t arrived yet.” I explained to him that we had had one party in Michigan already and that we would have another when our Jungle Java opens next month. He made this really sad face so I got on the phone with Carol and invited her and the boys over at lunch for some cake. All of his friends dropped by yesterday and gave him a present. They were so sweet and thoughtful. To all my neighbors there will be a big party at the JJ.
I have two new favorite shows this summer. The first one is Equator. I believe this is a series as I have watched two. Noah was glued to the one about the fish at the equator on the reef. The second show is When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions. NASA is celebrating 50 years! My dad used to work at the Kennedy Space Center. We Lived in Titusville during this exciting time. We watche Apollo 11 take off for the moon. I was only two. My dad used to come to my schools and talk about space and how the ship had to use the moon and earths gravitational pull to sling shot them to and fro. My dad even had a replica of a scroll they left on the moon. It had everyone’s name who worked at the station. The original is on the moon and my dad’s copy is now somewhere only his second wife, Lynn, knows(bitch). Any way I remember my dad taking me to one of the best movies I have ever seen, The Right Stuff. That kind of fueled my love for science. What an exciting time to be alive. If you haven’t seen that movie it is a must see.
OK now on to Jungle Java. I’ll post some pictures of the progress later today.

It has been soooooo nice out lately. Every night Gregg and I have been enjoying the great breeze. Even though it has been hot we have a great breeze here on the golf course. The boys and I have been hangin out everyday after nap just enjoying the shade and splashing around in the pool(thanks aunt Jan). I have decorated the back patio and we have been enjoying it. I put up some nice lights and have solar lights on order for th back of the property. It will look nice against the dark night of the golf course.
So much is going on with the Jungle Java and beyond. I can’t wait to get started. A lot of people already know about us and are anticpating our opening. Gregg and I have been out pubbing this place it is now wonder.
I am typing this out on the back patio enjoying the brisk breeze and solitude, But alas I must go in to retire. The boys are already asleep and we have so much more to do tomorrow. I will show you all the photos of the inside when they are done painting. I delivered so much today and they were still painting so I must wait til tomorrow for a better picture.
twinkle twinkle……………………….
going to watch Top Chef now go STEPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are getting really busy here. Of course that is why I decided to do some yard work. LOL Which leads me to a random thought. I’ve often told you that the heat in Texas is different than back in Michigan. Case in point….I have been out the last couple of days cutting the grass, weed whacking, and weeding the flower beds. I also planted 5 flats of flowers. I did all of this in 100 degree heat. I never would have planted nor cut grass back in Michigan if it was over 85. 85 in Michigan can be oppressive with the humididty. The people in Texas think they have humidity but they haven’t felt anything like a muggy, wet day in Detroit. Monday I cleaned and decorated the back patio. It sounds completely crazy but 100 degrees isn’t really that bad. It is warm but very tolerable.
On to another random thought…..I hate that news reports on that guy/girl who is pregnant. They call him/her the first pregnant man. He is NOT a man. He is a she baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born a she and has kept her female reporductive organs. THe pictures quite frankly gross me out. I was eating breakfast when they were showing them and I had to pause the TV til I was done. GMA also said that he/she is a real whore too. I guess they have been selling their story and pictures to anyone who will buy them. Enough!
We are super busy with the Jungle Java now. I have to go run a bunch of errands and shouldn’t even be here right now. Today they are blow painting the ceiling and the putting the remaining coats of paint. The cabinets are going in now and the muralist expects to start this weekend. SUnday is also the big day the playscape people come too. The construction said they would be done by the 22nd but there was a delay in geting one AC part(i’ts installed now) so I am wondering if they thing they can still get it done in time. OK off to IKEA and Target to shop for the store. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Noah turns 5 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big guy!!!!!!!!!!!

Noah and Cooper surprise me everyday with their thoughts and takes on life. Noah has started riding his bike with training wheels. A little boy on our street is wuite the daredevil(Aidan) and he is only 4. He rides a bike with no training wheels and he skateboards and does tricks. I think his gravitas is rubbing off on Noah. Of course Cooper has been riding the bike for a week now. Any way, I told Noah that I would buy him a bike of his choice once he is ready to take off the training wheels. He flashed me a puzzled glance. He said, “I hope you are not talking about taking off my stabilizers.” So for now on in this house we use the more technical term, stablizers, in place of training wheels.
Cooper is becoming ever so sweet. Today I dropped a wood block on my foot. It hurt so bad and he came over and asked if I was OK. He told me I needed to rest and he took my hand and raised me to my feet and walked me to my bedroom. He told me to lay down and he would come back to check in on me. He said rest and it will feel better. This is such a nice relief since he used to like to hit you and laugh at you while you pretended to cry.
Another funny thing Coopy said……………I asked him if he had a stinky and he said no but he did have a fluffy tail. eeewww

Finally! I was hoping they would win it in HockeyTown. Again the Wings have to win the cup in foreign territory. Now I had fun when they won it in DC. But it is better when everyone is around. There was only a large crowd of us in the stadium and in the streets in DC. I have some great pics of Gregg and I on the ice in DC. We were partying in the lockerroom til so late and all of us had to go out on the ice to smoke. Yea a lot of the guys have a cig or cigar and we all went out on the ice to smoke. It just looks funny to see us in an empty rink smoking on the ice. I digress, it is fun to see them skating around. It was nice to see Dallas Drake get the cup after Lidstrom. I still can’t believe Dallas came back to win his cup in Detroit. Seems like sweet justice. Don’t even get me started on Chris Osgood. I’m so happy he got to come back and win it again! We have been fortunate enough to be around the cup a lot. Aaron was kind enough to invite us to his cup party after he won it both times in Detroit and in Carolina too. Actually Noah, Cooper, Gregg, Julie and my mom got to go the the wonderful party 2 years ago as I had to stay behind to move from Austin to Philly):
Enjoy the win Detroit. I’m sure the bars will be hopping in Royal Oak tonight. Keep your eye out for the cup. It will be all around town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what you heard at my house on Thursday night around 9:43. Right in the middle of the Lost Finale we lost power. The whole neighborhood lost power. The island had just disappeared and the helicopter was going down. Yep that is where my tivo left off. I still haven’t seen the end yet. I’m going to watch it today during nap time.
Wednesday I played volleyball. I thought I was crazy playing volleyball in 90 degree heat but it wasn’t bad at all. I wish I could say the same thing for our team. Not bad for a group that hadn’t played in YEARS. I even subbed for another team after our game and hurt my hand. I din’t know how bad until the next day when the whole wrist and thumb turned black and blue. Ouch. Getting old sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had another nice weekend. We had a nice family fun night complete with appetizers that I made. I pigged out. Saturday the community had a BBQ cook off. Mike and Mandy and Jaime and Joel teamed up to make some killer (2 kinds)Brisket, ribs, and cobbler. Mike Smith also entered his pasta salad. It was guys against the girls. Everything had to be made on site and the girls had a secret weapon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A76V2E/?tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=1919547581&ref=pd_sl_4v6kwcbshp_b This cute little thing brought them the gold. They won best “other ” for their cobbler. The judges even came over to see how they cooked it. That CajaChina was pretty cool. THe guys would not be outdone they won for best ribs. So our friends won 2 out of the 4 categories. I don’t know who won for best brisket but I really liked Mike and Joels Brisket. We ate soooooo well that day. They even had a slip and slide, wet slides, and a dunk tank. The kids had a blast. I took the boys to the pool earlier that day for the kindergarten round up. We stayed there for 2 1/2 hours. It was fun. WE are going to spend a lot of time at the pool this summer(at least until I have to work). AND……….later that night Cooper took it upon himself to ride the big two wheeler bike. It does have training wheels but it is still a big step. Noah even tried it again. The ever cautious one wasn’t sure it was a good idea.
Yesterday we cleaned cleaned cleaned. The guys on the path helped Gregg build a work bench on Saturday(thank you) and Gregg and I cleaned and put things away. We are going to clean out the garage and take the top off the jeep and leave it off all year long. Now with a cleaned out garage we can put it in when it rains. Back to the garage. Gregg is going to pimp it out. He has a nice size TV and Sat. TV. He even has his stereo with Sirius there. He can hook that up to the tv and get surround sound. And of course we live in TExas so you have to have a fridge. Right now he just has a small(dorm) fridge but I think that is all that will fit right now. LOL
Fun things. Gotta go check the paint progress at Jungle Java. They said they will be done with the construction in 3 weeks. WOOHOO
