Today was our first football game.  We started at 8:15 this morning.  It was a bit of a chilly morning.  It rained last night and is overcast.  There is a definite wet chill in the air.  Our game started at nine and was worth the wait.  The kids were hilarious.  Thank goodness we have some kids on our team that played last year and knew what they were doing.  I have some great tape of Noah trying to line up to be center and another one where he was trying to take a flag off an oponent that didn’t have the ball.  He didn’t know why I was yelling grab the flag and the kid was telling him to leave him alone.  He never really got over that play.  He didn’t want to go back out on the field after that crying that no one will let him get a flag.  We’re going to have to practice grabbing flags and how about running in the right direction when you get the ball.  It was a great first game for all.  We won!

Yesterday I subbed in my first elementary school.  I only taught in an elementary school maybe 4 times back in 91.  I wanted to experince what Noah will be going through in the fall.  I had a great time.  One thing I knew was that they have a lot of prep and not much time to do it.  I can only imagine they are at school all day doing prep.  I definitely wil go back to elementary to sub.

We heard about our Permit on Thursday night.  They need us to do a few things and I think we will be closing the deal by mid next week and then starts the construction.  Woo Hoo!!!!!
