Lost 2/28

I’m glad we finally got more story on Desmond.  I have always liked him.  I guess his shipwrecking would explain how he got the power to see into the future but why then didn’t the airplane passengers experience the same fate.  Unless they will blame his future seeing on the blast of electromagnetic waves he suffered when he had to turn the key.

I wonder if he knew what it meant when Penny said that she got Charlie’s message.  Does he even remember Charlie and what Charlie had said.  I know Sayeed does but I don’t know if he was privy to the conversation.  Did Desmond have speaker phone on?  Now they know for sure it isn’t Penny’s boat.  I’m guessing they already knew that with the warm welcome they received on the boat.

I won’t go over the obvious in this post but I will say I had a thought…………

When Daniel looked at his book and said that Desmond Hume would be his constant I realized almost everyone there has a constant from the past to the future.  Most of these people from Oceanic 815 have a connection to one another in some way.  Now whether or not they know they have the connection is another thing.  It will be interesting.  Then again there would have to be a problem for them to need a constant.  Sayeed managed the trip just fine.

I have a headache so I won’t write anymore but if you have any thougths feel free to email me or leave a comment.  I may add more later.

But wait! Remember the one we got of them with the four shot. They had to do that one over and it just came in today. We are going to pick it up tomorrow and I will mail it out. Isn’t it funny that the photographer recognized us after two years. She is super sweet isn’t she. I’m glad we got to use her again because she is the one that got that great photo of Noah when he was turning 3.

I love reading your nuances about Lost, you mention things I have missed or never considered, I must be blithely stumbling thru the episodes. And I look forward to your musings about the potential future and what it means, you missed your calling girl, should have gone into forensics of some sort.
P.S. Snail mail in sunny Key West, should I be expecting my photos here or will you bringing them to Mich. when I see you and the boys again?

P.P.S. Shannon, your kind thoughts about seeing my grandsons is touching. But actually, I see them every single day, we share webcam, play games, sing, color, they tell me about their day. The wonder of technology makes it feel like we are with each other. Except for no hugs, and I certainly do miss that. And I look forward to seeing them again in April, we have made it a point to visit each other one way or the other, every 2 months. I have to end this letter, as the little pumpkins will be calling me soon.

The Gramma in the post is not Nikki’s Mom. It is Nikki’s Gramma.

    Hi Nicole,
I missed Lost last week but my friend told me Desmond was a time traveler. Do you think so? I’ll have to catch up online.

Aunt Jan you have to see it to truky know what it is. He wasn’t the only one doing and there may be others who will have to suffer that fate as well. Let’s all hope they can come out of it ok like Desmond. You have to watch the episode!!
    PS. Loved Gregg’s birthday card!

    Shannon,
Whoever you are, I have to say I have never seen such a passive agressive, sick obsession with a blogger. What exactly is your problem with Nicole Henson? Do you dislike her take on “Lost” that much that you come here on a regular basis just to write childish, passive agressive garbage?

The way you act, if I were your parents, I don’t think I’d want to see you or the grandchildren.

Get a grip, you look like a jealous fool.

Hi Nikki. Do you have a recommendation for a webcam. One that is easy to use and has a great picture. We had a Logitech and we were never really thrilled with it. How’s yours…or your moms? Any help, product names or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Deb

OK I do not pretend to know what I am talking about. BUT I have a laptop computer and the logo on my built in webcam is Skype. it says to go to www.skype.com/go/toshibaTAIS
I don’t know if that is a toshiba thing or what. Gregg has a Toshiba too. We use the program on MSN messenger and I don’t know if that makes a difference but they have lots of cool features. Cooper likes it when G-ma modulates her voice on it. She can make herself sound like a chipmunk.
I hope this helps. Otherwise we had always used Logitech….with MSN messenger.

Thanks for the info Nikki. We currently use Skype for free International. I have a Toshiba Qosmio laptop, so it’s good to know what will work well with it. Thanks again for the info….don’t ya just love technology!

    NIkki,

It has nothing to do with Skype.

You are using the built in web cam for the laptop and MSN messanger.

We have a logitech upstairs on the desktop but you are still using MSN messenger.
