Pictures and Some More Pictures
First off we have pics from Noah’s little soiree. We are going to have a party for him at the Jungle Java in July.
These pictures are from last Saturday. We drove down to San Antonio to meet up with Al and Jess. They got out of Milford and are living in DC now.
Then Saturday night we went to the Round Rock Express Game and Sunday night we went back for the catch with dad on the field(Father’s day). On Saturday night I asked them if they would offer Gluten Free Beer(Red Bridge) and by Sunday I was drinking it.
And Finally here are some pictures of the Jungle Java. It’s even better now. THey have completely unloaded the play structure but I didn’t get a shot of that. I’ll do those later in the week as the poor Canadians work to build the structure in this heat.
Love the pictures. I just sent Gregg 3 photos of the BW3 party in Novi I hope he got them. I did not have your email or I would of sent a copy to you. I hope you enjoyed San Antonio as much as I did living there. Maybe you can take more time and hit the Sea World and 6 Flags next time. The River walk is great but expensive as you now know. The Alamo, not like in the John Wayne movie at all, that was a surprise, did not expect it to be in the middle of the city. Did you make it to the Menger Hotel next door?? It is haunted and Pres. Clinton’s favorite Mango Icecream is made there and shipped to him. The Bar inside the Menger hotel was the original place where The Rough Riders were recruited by Teddy Roosevelt, http://www.historichotels.org/hotel/The_Menger_Hotel, awesome history.
There was a fountain on the side of Alamo that sat in the middle of the street, in front of the Menger hotel, that was a wedding present to Lady Bird Johnson from Lydon, on thier wedding day.
Now you have had your history for the day! See ya next trip home. Have a great Grand Opening for the JJ!!
Lise’ Camp
I will have to check that out. WE are going back on the 31st of July for the Wiggles concert.
