Where oh Where…..

Are my kids?  I mean I know I brought them with me to the grocery store but the imposters that were put in their place were downright scary.  These imposters fought, bit and punched each other.  At one point in the shopping trip one of “them” told me they hated me and they were not going anywhere with me.  Oh that was definitely an imposter.  I think there is a spirit or evil entity that lurks in the parking lots of grocery stores.  They take possession of your child’s soul as you enter the store.  Most everyone seems to accept this as fact as I had more than one parent pass by and say, “we have all been there, don’t worry.”  Other’s without kids just stared and marveled at the excorcism that was taking place in the checkout line as I tried to gain the upper hand on these imposters.  It wasn’t until I had the kids firmly in the carseats did the spirit finally leave their soul.  I think Noah and Cooper were even exhausted from the excorcism as Cooper fell asleep on the way home and Noah stared off into space.

I may have to take a spiritual advisor to that parking lot to perform a more precise excorcism before I ever return with my kids again!

I think you answered your own question in the last few sentences, the little pumpkins were probably tired and exhausted before the exorcism. Just be thankful you can corral them in the grocery cart, wait until your little bi-peds run loose on their own, unrestricted, free to sample the wares down each isle. O wait, that was when you and your sister were that age!!!
